Sale-A-Bration!!

How many more days until Sale-A-Bration?!

I can't wait for the annual Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration. This is my favorite time to stock up on Stampin' Up supplies. We launch a new spring mini-catalog that is available January to June of 2020. I sat down with the catalog a couple of nights ago to write down the items that I would like to have. 3 notebook pages later, I came to the end of the catalog! I want almost all of it!!! Here is a picture of the catalog and a link to an online PDF so you can look at all of the awesome products Stampin' Up has created.

If you place an order of $50 or more, you can select free items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. There are a lot of things that I want in this catalog too. Here is the PDF for the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

One group of items I am going to order is the honey bee items on page 10. I make cards for Kelly's Bees. My friend, Jessica, goes to craft fairs with her honey and other bee items. She asked if I had any bee cards I would like her to sell. Thanks a bunch Jessica for helping me out with my little card making business! You are the best!

These catalogs, the mini catalog and the Sale-A-Bration catalog go live on Friday, January 3, 2020. If you would like to order some Stampin' Up products, please visit my Stampin' Up Shop

If you want to make cards with Stampin' Up products, but don't want to purchase all of the supplies, stay tuned for more information about my card club and other events I want to try out! I love to share my supplies and love of paper crafting!

I love making t-shirts!

This blog is mostly about my love of paper crafts. I do love many other types of crafts. One of them is using my Silhouette Cameo machine. Santa was so nice to me this year. He brought me a new Cameo 4 machine. I love it! I have been using my machine a lot this school year, so the new machine is extra nice.

In October, one of the teachers I work with found a Halloween t-shirt that we all liked. We decided that we wanted to order it and a bunch of us would wear it on Halloween. The teacher checked on ordering the shirt and found out that it had sold out. I mentioned that I could make the shirt so I found a similar cut file on Etsy and bought shirts for the people that wanted one at school. The teachers helped me weed the vinyl. We had a nice get together after school one night and finished them quickly. I took them home and used my heat press and quickly finished this project. Here is what the shirt looked like.

We had so much fun with this one, we decided to make another one in November. The only problem was that November got away from us and we did not have a time to get together to weed the vinyl. I took the cut vinyl to school and we worked on it during lunch. We got the job done, but I did have more fun when we made an after school get together off campus out of it. Here is our November shirt.

With Thanksgiving being so late in the month and Christmas always being so busy, I knew we were not going to have time to all get together in December. I showed the staff a couple of shirts I had made in the past. Here they are.

They liked these shirts, but I made another one to show them. I wanted to try something with buffalo plaid in the design. I looked at Pinterest and found a shirt I liked. I then went to Etsy and found a cut file. I really like the way it turned out. I took all 3 shirts to school and let the staff vote on which one they wanted. It really didn't matter to me which shirt won, I had already made myself all 3 shirts. Here is the shirt that won!

I am so glad that we started this project. The staff has enjoyed selecting the design, learning the shirt making process and our social time of working on the shirts together. It has been a fun project. I can't wait to see what we decide to make in January. I do know that I plan on setting a time for us to work together and having fun! I am going to host the staff at my house so we can cut, weed and press all at once.
